Massage – 5/5/5 Rule

• Massage the treated areas for 5 minutes, 5 times per day, for 5 days.
• Use clean hands and gentle but firm pressure.
• This helps distribute the product evenly and reduces the risk of nodule formation.

Immediately after treatment (first 24 hours)

• Apply cold packs (wrapped in cloth, not directly on skin) intermittently to reduce swelling or discomfort.
• Avoid makeup for 12–24 hours.
• Do not rub or press the area except for massage as instructed.

For the first 24–48 hours

• Avoid strenuous exercise.
• Avoid saunas, hot tubs, tanning, or extreme heat/cold exposure.
• Limit alcohol consumption (to reduce bruising risk).

What to expect

• Swelling, redness, or bruising may occur and usually resolve within a few days.
• Small lumps may appear temporarily and often soften with massage.
• The results develop gradually over several weeks to months as collagen production is stimulated.
• Multiple sessions are often required for an optimal outcome.

When to contact your clinic

• Fever, chills, or any sign of infection
• Severe pain, increasing swelling, redness, or warmth at the injection site
• Hard nodules that do not resolve with massage
