PRP Aftercare

Immediately after treatment:

1. Mild redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection site is normal and usually resolves within a few days.
2. Some tenderness or mild discomfort may be felt in the treated area.
3. Tiny pinpoint marks may appear where the injections were performed; avoid scratching or picking them.

Skin care and activities:

1. Avoid touching, massaging, or applying pressure to the treated area for 24 hours.
2. Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, steam rooms, and hot showers for 24–48 hours.
3. Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 48 hours; use sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher).
4. Avoid alcohol and anti-inflammatory medications (unless prescribed) for 24 hours, as they can reduce treatment effectiveness.

General care:

1. Keep the skin clean and hydrated.
2. Makeup can be applied after a few hours if there is no irritation.
3. Results develop gradually over 2–6 weeks as collagen and tissue repair occur.
