Post-Care Instructions

Immediately after treatment

• Expect mild swelling, redness, bruising, or tenderness at the injection site. This is normal and usually resolves within a few days.
• Avoid touching, massaging, or applying pressure to the treated area for at least 24 hours unless instructed by your practitioner.
• Apply a cold compress for short periods if there is swelling or discomfort.

Activities to avoid

• Avoid strenuous exercise or heavy physical activity for 24 to 48 hours.
• Avoid exposure to intense heat (sauna, sunbathing, hot yoga) for 48 hours.
• Avoid alcohol for 24 hours as it may increase bruising or swelling.

General care

• Keep your skin clean and hydrated.
• Makeup can be applied after a few hours if there is no irritation.

Expected results

• Radiesse provides immediate volume and lift with results improving over 2–4 weeks.
• Full results may last up to 12–18 months, depending on the treatment area and individual factors.    

When to contact your clinic

• Severe pain, increasing swelling, redness, or warmth at the injection site
• Hard nodules that do not resolve with massage
• Fever, chills, or any sign of infection
