Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) is suitable for most skin types, including sensitive skin. It’s particularly beneficial for individuals seeking improvement in skin texture, tone and elasticity. However, it’s not recommended if you have active acne, as the procedure can spread acne-causing bacteria.
No. PRF works on skin quality and will have no lifting or tightening effect. XERF and Morpheus8 are effective for these goals with mild to moderate skin laxity. Surgery is appropriate for moderate to severe skin laxity.
For best results, a series of treatments is usually recommended. Visible improvements appear within weeks, with full results developing over 2-3 months, and maintenance sessions may be recommended as needed.
